No LSU has to sit in their own shit for a while.. but that is what they get for hiring Farmer Fran in the first place. I told you guys a month or two ago that Jimbo would want out of FSU.. I still wouldn't put rule out Tennessee but A&M seems to have the inside track. Would be a homerun for them. Gruden aint going to UT, MNF is a sweet gig and UT sux. I would look for Frosts name to start getting traction but he may end up at old Nebraska. AD being gone at the piggies means Burt might be gone too.. look for them to throw themselves at Malzan if there is a thought about that.

I think Kelly at Florida would be a huge mistake for them. He is an arrogant ass whose HUNH offense is run by 1/3 of the country now. There is no mystery to it anymore so then the difference would be recruiting, coaching staff and facilities which he wouldn't attract either.. just another bad fit. I would actually say that Charlie Strong would be a great fit but Mullen would be a home run for them.

Good thing Chip gets along well with others. I hope he goes there and we get to see that offense against some SEC defenses every week.

If he goes there it means they've settled for a splash hire vs the best hire in my opinion. I'm not a fan of him.

If it wasn't obvious by my NFL fandom, I am not a fan either. I am definitely interested in seeing how that vaunted 'Oregon' O goes up against real SEC D. It's the match up I think we've all been waiting for ..

I think he would do fine. He coached at Florida for a long time during their hay day. He is very well liked by the high school coaches in Florida and he knows the lay of the land at the university and with the boosters there. I just think Chip Kelly is done with pro's or big sec schools.. they know his game and he isn't capable of working the media and booster commitments as needed. They need someone more likeable and well spoken... Kelly is a pompus ass.

I too think Kelly would fit at UF. I also think he would do well and give teams fits, however going against SEC defenses week in and week out would take it's toll. As good as Spurrier and Meyer were at Florida, they always managed to choke a game away every year. I feel as though Kelly would fit that mold. Compete very well and make the SEC east travel through Gainesville every year.

And neither Meyer or Spurrier ever had an undefeated season....period...
Actually...Saban has had only one...sever regular seasons...but total...1

Spurrier said earlier today that Florida's next HC is coaching a team right now. Suggesting that it wasn't Chip Kelley. Sounds like he's crawling back down from that position about as fast as he can.
