NEW ORLEANS — Alabama held its second practice open to the media Saturday as players worked out inside of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Players were dressed in shorts and shells for the workout.

Here are a few notes from the brief media viewing period:

— Alabama didn’t show much as the team doesn’t want to give away anything just two days away from its matchup against Clemson. Players spent the beginning of the period running and warming up before going into position drills.

— For the most part, nothing has changed since the last viewing period. Defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick is still wearing a hamstring-support strip but looks to be moving well during drills. Linebackers Terrell Lewis, Christian Miller and Mack Wilson were also moving well, as was defensive lineman LaBryan Ray (foot).

— Earlier today Wilson said he was at 80-85 percent but feels he will be able to make a difference against Clemson.

— During positional drills, Wilson pulled off a nice one-handed catch while dropping back in coverage.

— Defensive back Nigel Knott and offensive lineman Brandon Kennedy (leg) were doing sit-ups, while tight end Miller Forristall (ACL) was on the stationary bike. Forristall was moving both his arms and legs on the bike.

— Receivers were working on quick slants over the middle with quarterbacks.

— Alabama AD Greg Byrne was in attendance for practice.

While concern for our offense is real for part 3... in battle 1&2; we've given up ~40pts per game, nearly 400 passing and 80+ plays. Obviously our lack of offe (especially game 2) contributes, but we must be better on both sides of ball.

Looking at Clemson's performance recently compared our performance against Auburn.....(who got then blown out by Georgia)..... is just about enough stat & fact to make me as nervous as a virgin at a prison rodeo. Hope Jalen has good running shoes... cuz he's gonna need'em against that Tiger D that WILL.... break through the line again and again and be on his ass. If Auburn could beat us .... I don't even wanna think worse case scenario against Clemson.

Last two winners of this game wore white jerseys. What will we be wearing? You guessed it.

Also, Georgia fans barking about the fact that they took the flight to California on the exact plane that carried the last two Champions to the Championship game. Just fun thoughts

Clemson's performance recently. Okay, let's go with that.

I've beaten the hell out of the "Clemson vs Auburn" theme here. So, to satiate some, let's go with another comparison that's similar--if not identical.

Clemson beats a severely beaten up FSU by 17 the 11th of November. Bama beats a FSU team at full strength by 17 to start the season. BUT, let's all focus on what happened between Auburn and Clemson at the beginning of the season and use that game to break down Monday's game?

Someone please, please explain.

Why do you feel the need to put Bama down? From what I have seen, we match up pretty well with the fighting dabos. Some of you, in the score thread, make me sick predicting a Clemson win. Maybe we should forfeit and just hand the trophy to Dabo right now. Ya effin cowards.

Not to mention, Auburn was without their running game.

Really wish folks would dig deeper...
