Saban has a reputation for being an unfeeling hard ass to some. You can bet other schools use that in recruiting. Stories like this show he's really not the person some try to sell. They are old and corny and make the guys laugh one way or the other. More than worth it even if some think it is immature.

Had a production operator sign off on his shift report one time as "Deez Nutz"..... .... needless to say his supervisor (or any other of the production management were not amused).

Saw some folks having a fit last week (not on here) and saying that Saban was going to be pissed at Battle for that. There's about 999,999 things that can piss Saban off at any particular time, but Battle saying what he said ain't one of them. During stretching the next day Saban probably just told him he was going to have to stay after practice and get in some extra bofa work.
