Second time this has happened. What the **** is scaring all the good kickers away from UA?

Yikes two years in a row...

There are two completely different cases. Pineiro changed his mind last year because Adam decided he'd stick around another year. In this case, it's a numbers game ... give one of the 25 initials to a skill guy versus a place kicker.

I'm sure, positive, they have their eyes on more than one guy to replace Ruiz.

Cairo Surupmakers, Cairo Syrupmakers, Cairo Syrupmakers!!! Never forget my first ever high school game where we played Cairo, at Cairo. Here I am this little short, scrawny Freshman, know nothing about high school football other than the games I went to growing up, thinking we have a great team and gonna kick ass. I'll never forget their chant as we passed them on the way to the field. They kicked our ass 55-0 that night, and it was then that I realized I was in a much bigger ballgame than rec league.

Ya know, I ended up researching this kid after you mentioned him. Not bad. Not a cannon leg like Ruiz, but not bad. What bugs me is why was UGA the only school soft recruiting him? 247 doesn't have any other potential schools listed.

Not sure if Hudl embeds or not, but he's got a couple 50+ yarders he hit in games this past season..
