Does the team still light them up after a UT win? I read something last year or maybe the year before that suggested that Saban put the cabash on that tradition.

I dont think it was Saban that stopped it, it was either the NCAA or SEC I think.

But, that was reviewed and labeled an extra benefit.

Now it's a "smoke 'em if ya got 'em."

When they are lit is another matter.

I saw several players coming out of the locker room with a stogie. I also heard AJ McCarron as he was walking back to the football building. He was telling someone how he nearly pissed his pants at the end. He said he had had to pee since they went out for the 2nd half and then ending with Cody's block. He said he sprinted in and went straight to the can.

I share a class with a few football players and talk to one on a regular basis. Ive heard quite a few stories from the game.

First, I heard Mark was just absolutely torn up at the end of the game. Heard he was just devastated he lost the fumble and was sick to his stomach (who wasn't) at the end of the game. It makes the fact we blocked the kick so much better.

Also, one of the players commented that "TC" started running towards him like he was gonna dive on him and he had to jump outta the way.

I asked how Saban was in the locker room. The player said that Saban was really happy they pulled it out. He commented that most people don't know how much Saban loves this rivalry. He said that Saban was just as happy as everyone else.

All-in-all, he said they are really ready for the bye week and get the offense straightened out. He said they've been working on a new Wildcat play as well. One that sounded really cool.

Noone had to say anything to Ingram. He went to the sideline by himself and everytime they showed him he was either swatting at the air or hitting himself in the head (with his helmet on obviously). He was visibly upset at himself. I got a feeling he'll be taking it out on LSU.

Thanks, its nice to hear things from our players perspectives in something other than a media interview where things are kinda rehearsed. I enjoy these little stories.

I think if TC came running at me, i would have to side step him too. Can you imagne the pain if he fell or jumped on you. Ouch!
