So everone is on the same page...

It's getting around this week that everyone is bringing duck calls to the game next week. And every time Bama scores the crowd all sound thier duck calls. lol

92,000 of those things all going off at once will send a powerful message to the Aubs...and a memorable one.

Are you Shane from the Finebaum show? This was his idea today, to do a "quack" out.
Shane's unoriginal redneck butt stole it from other message boards. Most school organizations have received emails about it.

No but that's probly were i heard about it.
Didn't catch that idiot Shane on F-Bomb today. was way out of range 1/2 way to Mobile with a load of limestone gravel.

I try to listen to Jay Barker in the mornings and Finebaum in the afternoon. I live in Montgomery but work keeps me inthe B-ham area most days. So most of the time Jox is out of range @ home.

But seems like i remember that the idea was from a message board as well. I thought it was a Kick @ss idea.

But to asnswer your question no i'm not shane. thank God.

Does this qualify as a gimmick to try to intimidate or mock the other team, which we made fun of and criticized earlier and throughout the season?

Honestly, I think it's a great idea. Maybe it'll bring Tubervillian around that recruiting is more important than duck hunting.

Having the UGA players call from the Black Out is one thing. That speaks to the team's confidence.
This seems to be a fan driven just trying to have some fun. I see a difference.

True, I doubt our seniors got together with CNS and asked for the fans to use duck calls LOL

i think it sounds kinda hokey. i wouldn't do it. but since i'll be watching the game in colorado at a sports bar it would be really weird if i did it.

That's so Mark Richt.

How bout' Roll Tide Roll!!

Besides, when the barners see a$# GetReadyToRollGetReadyToRollGetReadyToRoll..... a$# they'll figure it out.

How about we just yell loud as possible and get the place rocking? I think that's a better idea.

Thankfully, I will be watching the game at home surrounded by AU supporters. However, I am going to be watching to see (and I bet I will) at least two goobers with empty tide boxes, a roll of toilet paper on top of them with a duck call sticking out of their mouths.

I'm not being hypocritical, really, I know a lot of AU fans don't have teeth (don't know them personally of course)but I hang my head when I see them.

One problem I can think of is that there is not 92,000 duck calls in Alabama. So how is everyone going to get one?

   Thats about the funniest thing I have heard today. I spewed my coffee on the keyboard.

I agree, we need to show class. Bells and whistles are for teams that don't have what we have.

Let's just spill their blood.

Next game we can dress up like Crocodile Dundee or some other nonsense.

Let's just be nothing but a winner.

I find it to be pretty lame. Now, if ole Wingnut was off ducking hunting this week instead of getting his team ready for the beatdown on the 29th, I might find it amusing. Better yet we could have several in duck costumes and rabbit costumes reciting the Bugs Bunny /Daffy Duck "Rabbit season, duck season".
