🏈 Steve Doran?

#88 or #80 I believe. He has a picture hanging up in this Bama themed BBQ joint/bar here in Evansville, IN. It's a b&w autographed picture so I assume he played for Bryant. Anyways, he live right across the Ohio River from Evansville, in Henderson, KY, and he attends this bar regularly on gamedays.

I visit this bar often but not on gamedays, and they're having a customer appreciation thing going on before the game this weekend and he'll be down there. Can anybody tell me anything about this guy?

I look up Steve Doran on rolltide.com. This is what I found. He played tackles from 1968,69,70. Don't know why he was wearing #80 or #88 He was from Murray Ky. He was 200 lbs 6'2"

Steve Doran was a tight end from Murray, KY. Played during late 60's through 1970. He is actually in the Alabama record books as one of the 100+ yards receiving in a game. He had 101 against Ole Miss in 1970.

Steve doran

Steve did play for Bear Bryant and played with Ken Stabler(who has also been to this establishment). It's game day & Steve will be at the Hickory Pit Stop BBQ restaurant you are speaking about. The missed & beloved Bull Dawson used to frequent our place as well. Come on down and check out the BAMA football wall & enjoy the game with fellow BAMA fans. We'd love to see you there. ROLL TIDE!!!
