Believe it or not, Bama has never started 5 consecutive seasons at 5-0. Barring a monumental upset, Bama will do just that on Saturday against Ole Miss.

Very few have accomplished this. Nebraska was the last to do it. 1997-2001. Even the Oklahoma teams of the 50's that won an astounding 47 straight games had only 4. 1954-1957. They lost the opener in 1953 to ND and the 3rd game of 1958 to Texas.
