šŸ“” Staff additions/changes: Reports: Craig Kuligowski hired as defensive line coach

They pissed comments include "Michigan State / Dantonio Plant" "Nick Saban is a snake"
He's still pissed off about Enos leaving Central Michigan and has carried it this long, and now this far? SMFH!

Fishy.

The one question/thought I've entertained is how can the non-compete be in effect if he's released from Arkansas? As soon as you're let go, that goes, right?

Normally, yes. But it's the media reporting it. My bet is that they looked at the wording and just reported it, without thinking about the legal validity.

Word is the non-compete thing is why he went to Michigan in the first place. From what I heard he had a direct non-compete, meaning he could not leave Arkansas and go straight to an SEC school. But he went to Michigan, collected one paycheck, and then could leave. So no buyout owed to Arkansas.

Coach Bryant.............."I don't hire anybody not brighter than I am. If they're not smarter than me, I don't need them."

I remember watching the movie Apollo 13 and thinking about all the nerds behind their computers with their trusty slide rule in hand. When it came to an actual crisis the smartest man in the room was Gene Kranz, the vest wearing flight director. He had to listen to all the debate and had to decide how to put it all together and get the guys home.

Coach Bryant was the flight director, the smartest guy in the room.

Just a little less than 3 months until A-Day.......I am not sure how Tua could have a better spring game than he did last April...we'll see

Then prepare to be disappointed.

Last year when he went against our first team defense, he went 3 and out followed by 4 and out.

I'm not saying he won't do well.

Everyone remembers him coming in and lighting it up last spring (against the second team defense). He struggled as a true freshman against the ones.

A more recent memory for me was him coming in at halftime of THE biggest college football game anyone will play in against a very good GA defense without having played any significant minutes all season and bringing us back from 13-0 and winning a championship. Most specifically, I remember this.....

Jalen could stay at Bama for 10 years and he will still be stuck where he is today as far as a QB. #2 lacks the confidence to be elite as a passer and that will not change. It is just part of his mental makeup. He is great at what he does well. I hope he stays and continues to be a QB. You need a solid backup and another solid backup behind him.
