Jon Hoke will be co-defensive coordinator in charge of the pass defense and current defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward will be co-defensive coordinator in charge of the run defense. They will work together, Spurrier said, but Hoke will be the primary play-caller.

I recall something along those same lines under DuBose. Stubbs was supposed to be the OC and Callaway the run game coordinator/ O line coach with Callway ultimately calling the plays. We all know how that ended!!
