Florida’s upset loss to Louisville in the Sugar Bowl was a disappointing one. Yet one Gator player didn’t let it prevent him from remembering his school spirit.

Following the game, backup LB Darrin Kitchens — who did not play in the game — made his way over to the portion of the Superdome closest to the Florida band. There, with his helmet proudly held high, he sang the Florida alma mater for one last time this season.

Singing the alma mater is normally reserved for Florida victories, but the junior was hell-bent on thanking those who cheered for him and his teammates throughout the season. As a result, he helped give us a photo that’s both moving and timeless.

I have nothing but respect and admiration for this young man. I have no strong feelings one way or another toward UF, but their actions and their coaches actions in the Sugar Bowl were an embarrassment to the school.

I hate to say I agree but Florida was undisciplined and unprepared!

As for this young man, very classy...
