I think you're spot on. I heard a little ESPN radio last night where they were saying that it looked like Mike Garrett (his AD) was going to make Pete the fall guy. Looks like the balance of power in the PAC 10 has shifted to the north. Oregon has been a factor with a lot of top tier recruits.
