I think it is now Herschel then Bo then Henry for the top 3 backs in SEC history. Now the best RB ever in college was Sanders. That is OK, we have the best OL in SEC history with names like Hannah, Stephenson, Samuels and some of the more recent ones. We have the best WR in SEC history with Hutson(Jones, Cooper and maybe Ridley are nothing to sneeze at). The best 2 LB in SEC history in Thomas and Jordan. The best TE in SEC history in Newsome(although he played more like a WR at Bama). Possibly the best QB in SEC history in Namath, Manning being the debatable choice. Namath's NFL career was less because of injury.

My opinion, they played in two completely different times, impossible to compare the two. The type of football played in the early 80's is vastly different than the football played today. I appreciate them both for being very talented. I will say this, the Dallas Cowboys made one hell of a trade :D.

What would Derrick do to defenses back then at his current size/speed? What would Herschel do in today's game (people are faster and bigger than they were then).
You talking about when Cowboys trader him to the Viking right? :D;) Wasn't it like 5-1 trade?
