Just kidding.

The Oklahoma fark board rates right up there with the LSU Freak in creativity and poking fun. If you ever want a truly deep laugh, go there the week before the Texas game. Place is a riot. And just pure comedy the week after that game in the Sooners happen to win.

This one is just another slap down of a program that wants so much wants to run with the big boys and play in the deep end of the pool. That would be Auburn by the way. (You know, just in case we have to explain it again.):nana:

All the big talk of the Auburn 'moral victory' Thanksgiving weekend melts away to total 'sadness' less than one week later when their big brother wins (yet) another SEC title.

And I don't believe anyone explained how this had anything to do with the Sooners.

I hope you know I was merely joking with you. The "your're the smart one" was out of line.

Oklahoma is one of those programs that knows what it is like to run with the big dogs. They appreciate tradition and respect those with it. They do not treat kindly the fools that try to dismiss real tradition (and rolling a tree after a big victory does not qualify) or try to pretend they belong to the elite crowd. They realize some teams can grow and rise up to join the historical crowd - see Florida for example, by actually WINNING something. They mock those who try to crash the party with no real resume.

Having to deal with the likes of their own little brother nipping at their heels with no stones to back it up (Oklahoma State) they appreciate what we have to endure with Auburn.

Sometimes LSU Freak will fark a situation that has nothing to do with his beloved LSU. Sometime those who fark on the Oklahoma board will do so in a situation that does not involve them at all - but that they can understand and appreciate. This was one of those situations.

Sometimes we here talk about Notre Dame or USC or Penn State or Clemson when we have no dog in the fight, merely because they might be topical at that time. This is no different.

It really is not that hard. And, it really is funny.

But you can disagree on both counts if you wish.

All is good.

Check out the Oklahoma fark board sometime. They are really good at choosing who to goad. And really good at doing so.

Some of their stuff after they beat Franchoine 77-0 in his first year at Texas A&M was literally rolling on the floor laughing your ass(ets) off.

They have gotten on our case some too. But there is some deep mutual respect between their fans and ours, so they tend to give us the benefit of the doubt.

Given we are about to face their hated rival, I suspect there will be some good stuff up soon. And if we win, you can assure so.
