| LIFE Songs you turn up on the radio. (gotta include a video here.)

For the record, I am 46 years old and have 3 adult kids, two in college to become teachers and one married and in Afghanistan. I have to say that because inevitably people think I am some young weirdo when they see what I listen to. So I'll give you two. One that nobody will ever have heard of and another that some might.

Nobody will now Jinjer at all.

Some may know Greta Van Fleet.

@rocknthefreeworld,

I get your theme. Strong female vocals. But crankin' it up on the road? Jinger. I'd have to be rollin' like I was in my 20's to turn that one up. I do appreciate it.

On female vocals. And, this is one I've got for trips down I-26 ... played a few times. Love her voice. L.O.V.E.

The Caddie? Fill me in, I don't know what you're asking about. I tried last night to add a music video off youtube but couldn't make it happen. Either I wasn't holding my mouth right or just leaving out a step somewhere. I saw the how, to but not doing something right. Do I need to have a youtube channel to download videos on to my IMAC before posting them on this site ? I am not tech savvy.

Typically, I didn't pick up much music from my kids as they were in high school, lone exception being Jet, probably because of their heavy Beatles/Rolling Stones influence. This one, for me, fits in the must turn up category:

Honestly, I didn't pick mine up from my kids. The few things we have in common they usually picked up from me. I can't stand a lot of the stuff they listen to.

My middle boy is the best musician of the three, and he travels a good bit as the lead guitarist with a country band, playing at decent size clubs and casinos, along with some weekday gigs on the Nashville strip. They're currently doing a ten day run in Key West. He plays any genre and, although modern country's probably not his favorite, it helps pay the bills. They do a 90's country set that's pretty entertaining.

If I had to pick one genre, I'd probably pick Americana and red dirt country over classic rock, but those are my first three of a broad interest that includes my season tix to Broadway shows.

Anything by my favorite current band:
10945

Still my all-time favorite bands:
1A: Either 10946 or 10947

1B: 10948

Quite a few other bands will always get me to turn it up, but pretty much anything by these three...Yeah!
