Let's assume we do go to a nine game conference schedule. That means that every other year a team is going to have five conferences games away, and four at home.
Two, no, make that four teams should be complaining about this loudly: Arkansas, Texas A&M, Georgia, and Florida.
Why? Neutral site games.
Arkansas and the Aggies are planning on playing their next two season on a home and home series basis. Then, in 2014, they are supposed to return to Cowboys stadium.
We all know about the cocktail party.
I haven't heard anyone mention that on the years you have one of those four teams with only four home conference games, in reality they are only going to have three true home conference games.
UArk isn't allowed to host recruits in Arlington. There's one drawback. But seriously, how does it make financial sense to only have three conference games in a season?
