Well, Gibson and Norwood are big receivers, but the Julio type comes along once evry 20 years or so. Obviously we got along pretty well with average or even small receivers.
Your certainly right Terry, but I'm not sure where my frustration lies more in one of the following:
Having a big guy like Julio just makes things much more comfortable (for lack of a better word)
OR
We've recruited the big guys similar to Julio (Bowman & Carter) but these guys are not panning out. I wholeheartedly support CNS in his discipline policy, it is just so disappointing to see such talent thrown away.
We've seen our share of bluechips make their way to the program & they fizzle out because they are not willing to put in the work it seems. Again, I'm not implying in any way that CNS needs to change (I utterly love coaches expectations).
Check out Danny Woodson's son (Danny Jr). He was a specimen in high school. If he has been in the weight room this past year, he should be every bit as big as Julio.
