I see Bama no worse than a three seed. I'm thinking UCLA gets the #1 slot with OU and Bama left for #2 and #3. UF at #4.

Bama comes in #1 in the final RPI followed by UCLA, UF, and then OU. The first three, when it comes to strength of schedule, all had top five seasons. OU was over 50 (I believe it was #55.)

UCLA had 14, top 25 wins. Bama had 19. I don't know how that'll come into play.

No big breaks for Alabama, but at this point it is a gauntlet anyway... sucks to see lesser seeds with easier roads though. Washington was so pissed about their seeding, their team got up and walked out of the room....

I'm not seeing that tough of a row to tow. Nothing comes easy at this point, but no teams there scare me all the way through the Super Regional.

Oklahoma and Florida are the two teams that concern me.

Alabama shouldn't have an issue, but was surprised to see Clemson thrown in there with them. Really, it probably screws Clemson more than Alabama. Murphy said it reminded him of when they sent Minnesota to Tuscaloosa a couple years ago... but yeah, at this point you gotta beat the best anyway. I do think UW was screwed, but I don't have a dog in that fight.

Somebody luvs them some Mizzou
Deserved? Consider:

  • swept the #9 seed within the last two weeks.
  • took 2 of 3 against the #6 seed a month ago.
  • took 1 of 3 against the #4 seed just before that.
  • finished fourth in the SEC (which produced how many in this field?)
#8 seems spot on to me.

Oh, not their seeding, I'm talking about their competition....That is a good draw.

Clemson pitcher is the real deal . She has good movement and velocity, from what i saw . I can’t be for sure though because espn didnt offer the MPH graphic during their championship game vs. Duke for some reason.

Why the hell would Washington be seeded 16?

The selection committee guy said last night that a couple of early OOC loses hurt them. To me, that's pretty dumb. Now, strength of schedule? Ok, but he didn't mention that. Alabama lost to South Alabama in a mid week game. Silly to hold a game or two like that against a team. IMO, the Huskies are better than some positioned ahead of them... but like with the Clemson thing, this sorta hurts OU too (assuming UW gets by Michigan).

Yep. Reminiscent of Bama #1 and Hawaii #16.
