⚾ 🥎 🥎 SEC Tournament: Alabama Softball Falls to Tennessee in SEC Tournament Semifinals, 7-6

You think Bama will host a regional?

My guess is, yes. Bama's RPI was at 12 going into today, and losing to the Vols shouldn't hurt them. The tricky part is, will the committee drop them (and of so, how far) if they think Fouts won't pitch again? Had she not gotten hurt though, even with the loss tonight, I felt they were locked in high enough to avoid a Supers matchup with OU or UCLA. Unfortunately, her status makes it a bit of a wildcard now.

I did not see the game, but that is piss poor to give your defense and pitchers a four run lead, only to give it up with a grand slam and multiple other home runs. No matter how many hutters they have, giving up that many home runs is unreal in my eyes. Especially with runners on base.

Yeah if she can’t go then they’ll surely drop them to 14-15. They’ll host a regional either way a tougher draw maybe, but they won’t get out of the regional without her. With her there’s a good chance to win a regional, and a sluggers chance at winning a super (as long as it’s not OU, UCLA, FSU)…
