This is from a stat site I reference. I believe I've mentioned it before: may have been for another sport.

Just for fun...his algorithm runs situations every day on baseball or softball and the like. Here's today's. I would love to see this final series. (A&M over OU would be something.)

Alabama wins 1-0! Bama walked into a letdown trap in auburn (after last weekend's series win over Texas) and barely survived game 1. Really felt like Bama pressed after not scoring, and leaving 2 runniers on, in the 1st inning. Some uncharacteristic AB's and little things, like baserunning blunders sorta took their toll. One bright spot offensively was Jenna Young going 2-2 with 2 triples. She also scored Bama's lone run of the game (and was thrown out at home another time). In the circle, Briski wasn't quite as sharp as we've seen her, but she wasn't bad by any means. She got herself out of a couple of jams on a night that she had no margin for error. She ended up with the CG win, going 7 innings, 0 runs, 6 hits, 8 K's, and 1 walk.

I'd expect Bama to come out tomorrow and swing the bats better...

Bama wins game 2, 4-0! For the 2nd day in a row, Bama played uncharacteristically inconsistent, but still got the job done. In the circle, Moten (15-2) battled with some slight command issues but still overpowered auburn hitters. She got the CG win going 7 innings, giving up 0 runs, 1 hit, 4 K's and 3 walks. At the plate, Bama had a couple mor hits today than they did last night, but still struggled with runners on base, going just 1-7 with runners on. And again, like yesterday, outs on the bases from poor decisions likely cost them more runs. All in all though, another win, another shutout, and another series secured on the road.
