Trying to decide on what hat and shirt to get my dad before i see him in a few weeks

Picked up the Nike "We Own This" shirt yesterday. Passed on the cap, I don't wear non fitted caps. That's all I've found here in Ga. so far.

I wore one of those 13 hats to the LSU/Oregon game last year Terry, its amazing how low key that hat is - nobody realized I was a Alabama fan while I was at the game...which was the reason I wore it.

IMO, the "official" national championship hat is about the ugliest thing I've ever seen. (The ones they wore during the post game). I thought last years were bad, but these are just UGH.

I've got 13,14, and 15. And you're right, most don't get it.

Interesting little story...

A year or so ago I was dealing with some health issues and happened to be wearing my 13 hat when I went to see the doc about my pancreas. He had his group in there with him and made a comment about the hat asking what it meant.

One of the youngest interns in the room told him, "State of Alabama, 13 NC's." Ends up the intern was a Vandy grad.

I like them because it takes a true Bama fan to understand what the hat means. Or, a true SEC football fan.

www.statetraditions.com is the website, but they also have a list of retailers. There's one at the Summit at 280/459, but they're all over the State. I ordered my cap at 11:55pm eastern game night from them, it shipped yesterday and I hope to have it today or tomorrow.

Next time over to the lake, I'll be headed to Martin's in Oxford. They have the best selection of Bama stuff I've seen. I normally don't buy anything that references an opponent, but those "I'd rather be good than lucky" shirts are understated enough to catch my eye.

The last hat that was good looking was the 2009 SEC Championship game locker room hat. It is made by The Game and is a classic. All the others since, :shake:.
