🏈 so I'm in Keystone, CO snowboarding with a Roll Tide...and?

Its spring break and I'm in Keystone, CO snowboarding. I've run into probably 3-4 people with Bama ski jackets or Bama hats, gave them a nice Roll Tide. I have on a Bama knitted cap.

Also caught a guy coming off the lift with an Auburn cap on - gave him a Roll Tide too, he didn't see too happy - but at least he gave me a War Eagle.

I hate when I run into fans from another team and I tell them Roll Tide and they just look at me. Damn it, if you are an Auburn fan and I say Roll Tide, I'm expecting you to say War Eagle, or if you are an LSU fan to say Geaux Tigers.

There are a lot of people who buy hats, etc., with no allegiance to teams. You probably ran into one of those.

Hell, I ran into a guy a few weeks ago outside of a convenience store and complimented him on a license tag he had on the front of his car. He immediately went on to correct me that it was an Atlanta tag, not an Alabama tag.

"I guess that depends on where you are. How's the weather in cluelessville."

Yeah, I probably stepped over the line a bit there...but, see the sig.

I feel compelled to say something. I don't want some Barner strutting around thinking for even an instant that that Cow College has claimed new territory. They simply must run into that "Yes, Bama is here too?!? " feeling again.

Picked up a Tahoe for my wife now over a month ago and I'm still waiting for my back ordered Bama plate here in GA. When I went to the main tag office, the lady called to confirm they were out of stock. Then she said, "yeah, the Roll Tide plates are out of stock right now, but we have tons of aubrun plates." I told her that wasn't surprising, and she started puttering around with the paperwork and about twenty seconds later she started laughing - "I just got what you were saying - Roll Tide!"
