Florida State wasn't overvalued when they hyped up that marketing machine before the season to build viewers. In all honesty, they say that at the end of every opening game we play in. I specifically remember Herbstreit saying "this game would have been much better a few years down the road" talking about the Michigan game. They knew USC would get beat, but then they really spoke about the talent gap after they got spanked. It happened every year.
In the end, we will all play about the same level of competition and it will then be the strong survive, and whomever is there will play for the Natty.
