When I get back to Tuscaloosa, I'll post more info on a variety of topics, but I did want to pass this along. Bill Parcells (Executive Vice President of Football Operations for the Miami Dolphins) made it a point to seek out UA's Rashad Johnson this afternoon in the team hotel and have a little sit down chat. Parcells was very familiar with Rashad's resume. At one point, he even commented on a personal foul penalty that Rashed had been flagged for in a game. Said he knew that was out of character for him, but chided him for it anyway. Rashad agreed, and said that Saban also chewed him pretty good the morning following the game. Parcells said he had kept a close eye on Rashad all season though and was impressed with what he had seen.

On another note, Parcells heaped heavy praise on Saban in the conversation. They are obviously friends, but he thinks highly of him as a coach, especially a DB coach.
