Eddie is probably best suited to leave early. The longevity of RBs in the NFL doesn't have a lengthy time period so might as well make the jump and get all you can for 4-5 years. He probably will go between the mid 2nd to late 3rd rounds. It's all about needs! We have a bevy of RBs coming and a few on the mend that could make Eddie's leaving an after thought.
DJ may be maxed out at this level with a degree in tow. IMO, he is a early 2nd round draft that may eventually get moved to the guard position. As stated earlier, IF Brown pans out, we won't skip a beat at RT. Steen has been the unheralded man on this O line. He'll anchor the RG spot with CK holding down the LT spot as a pre-season All-American. Big brother, AK will take over for Chance but it is at center that I have some questions. Ryan Kelly looks to be the man but does Chad Lindsey move him out or not?
Milliner is a 1st round pick without a doubt. His play has improved dramatically since he first stepped on campus. Geno Smith has stepped up and the light has seemed to come on for John Fulton to step in for Dee. Where will Ardarius Stewart come into play? Does he go to WR or DB. I have an uncle that has officiated HS football for 30 yrs in the state and he says that lb. for lb., Stewart is the hardest hitting player her has seen.
CJ would be a late 1st to mid 2nd round pick. If CJ did leave, this would be a spot where we need Rueben Foster to see the light and come home. DePriest will be back, but we lose Nico to graduation. If CJ returns, he can mentor these young bucks and be a Top 10 pick next season.
