💬 should fornette be suspended for shoving the Florida assistant in pre-game walk through?

Whatever positive influence orgeron is having on the tigers the crap talk and bravado has been extreme. He obviously doesn't care what players say and how supposed leaders act. Not a fan.

No way. clearly the Florida coach walked him down. handle your own players. you can clearly see him eye Fournette down and continue to approach him even though the scuffle is in another area. hold the grown up accountable.
"eyeing someone down", as you put it, does not deserve a shove. If it was the other way around, the coach would have been suspended or fired immediately.

To me it the HEAD COACH that is in change of his teams. That coach on UF side he was in the wrong not getting his players to back a way. If that what happen, eyeing someone . Didn't Bama have a team last year try it best to get a pre game fight?

Don't omit the next words of my comment voicing a couple different indicators to the coach going aftet him. You eye me and walk at me in a scuffle and I'd knock your teeth down your throat. I consider that engaging me. Now, eying me from across the room, sure I don't care as that doesn't affect me or my ego like it does some. The video clearly shows the coach walking at him and having words. Now you tell me how professional that is, Instigating a fight with a 19-20 year old. At that point I don't see an authority figure and player, I see it as being smart, creating distance, and protecting yourself. I know in a fight you just don't let people get close enough to land a blow, atleast that's how I feel.

At the 10-11 second mark of the video you can see Fornette reach out and grab/touch the UF coach before the assistant turns around. Watch it closely. Fornette instigated that part. In fact, that coach is looking the opposite way and walking away from him.

Should NEVER be allowed to put your hands on someone between the lines , shit can go wrong fast with that many kids and so few coaches and officials cluttered up together like that . Even a innocent shove .

Then Fournette ahould be suspended. ESPN only had a clip of the coach coming at Fournette. Whoever touched who or instigated it should be disciplined.

After accomplishing the greatest single season in the history of running backs, LSU can finally put up that statue.

It seems to me that the players are running the program as lswho. EO, if aware of the incident, should have kept LF on the bench. I don't know what the Assist Coach may or may not have been saying, but the player should NEVER shove a coach (his own nor the opponent's). If Coach Mac (at Florida) finds out that the assistant was taunting, then he should discipline the coach. This whole mentality that some of these star players have is sickening to me. As coach Bryant used to preach, win with class, carry yourself with class.

Here's what a friend said about LF after the incident yesterday:

LF may be unhappy in general with his football college career. I'm sure he feels he somewhat wasted his talents there with little to show for it. Now Miles is gone, their season is in the tank. he never won any individual awards, no team trophies. he never beat Bama, and got really dinged up this year. He has to think about the what if's. Regret is a heavy load to care.

You can see the frustration dripping off this guy. When USC was going through their tropical storm last year LF7 was literally on top of the college football world. Even having his jersey auctioned off for $100,000 for the relief efforts. He was poising for his Heisman pictures. Almost from that moment on, or as we like to recall, his mandatory trip to Alabama, it all went south.

This is all blown way out of proportion. Some of the comments are absurd. Its a pregame scuffle at a football game that had some negativity around it due to the universities handling of rescheduling the game. No suspension is even remotely warranted for young mr fournette.

Football is aggressive and territorial. Sometimes emotions spill over. All the players are over it im sure.

I do agree he is likely frustrated at the lack of trophies during his tenure in red stick. They really should hve won more games with him to lean on.
