I've been saying for sometime his run was over I see 3-4 more loses and he is lucky they don't play Miami that would be another ass whipping.

I'd say it was when his original coordinators left: he still has talent there. (I'm selling Klubnick more cheaply this morning than I was yesterday and he was about to go to the clearance aisle then.) At least I can say I started saying they are going downhill at the point his original offensive coordinator and QB coach left.

(As it ends up, Venables can buy an offense.)

I think it's funny too how back in 2023, Clemson hired Garrett Riley (former TCU OC) and that was viewed as the biggest splash hire in the offseason. Read the comments on Reddit. Two years later and they can't stand the man.

Best OC hire though that offseason? Will Stein at Oregon. I think he'll be a HC soon.

Saban was first out of tunnel...just didnt have a tunnel to run down...so...i just dont see that as hughissue....

Ok. I guess i haven't really watched enough Clemson games to feel impacted by it...

The "drunken bum look"...i like that.

Remember when "coat n tie" was only acceptable attire. Stallings always looked the full CEO.... i like the nice polo shirt look.....personally

He's a one trick pony. Had a run with one particular class and now it's all passed him by. Kirby didn't let the game move without changing himself. Dabo has and is now behind.

He has not evolved. Won with one staff and most of same recruits. The absolute definition of one trick pony.

If the past presser didn't prove it clearly, there's no hope for you to see him for what he is.

When he took over that program he did so fairly humbly: as much as could be mustered. That core group only lost 17 games.

When Venables, Elliot, Scott, et al, left Clemson I pointed out the foundation was gone. I pointed to this with you, in conversations here. We saw it come true time and again when he was promoting "his guys" into the main coaching roles.

THEN the portal questions began coming his way. It wasn't at the same time; one was followed by the other with the NIL free for all being his last capitulation.

Since that foundation left Clemson has lost 40+ games: 43, I believe. And, what have we seen?

"I don't care what people are doing and what you say. I'm doing it my way." That's all about whom?

It's ironic how similar Dabo is to Shula with his staffing decisions...and Mike is another of the guys you can't see clearly.
