So I’m heading into academy this morning. As I’m walking in about 15 feet into the store this guy comes walking at a quick pace with his sweat shirt bulging from something. As I walked by I reached out and snatched him up off his feet and pinned him down with a knee. As I do this about $500 worth of fishing reels goes tumbling out on the floor. The “staff” just froze (all of them early 20 something young ladies). I had to tell them to call the security office. I had to answer a few questions, got dirty looks by most of the employees. A thank you and a gift card from a manager. Asked if I had to be so violent by a purple hair. Patted on the back by a man that saw how I put one hand behind his head so it didn’t bounce off the floor.
So I went about and picked up some crappie setups like nothing had happened. By the time I made it back to the registers, people were shocked I just continued on with my plans and didn’t need to go clear my head. People are something else!!! About 10different people with about 6 different reactions!!!

His post made me think of shoplifting I've seen. I think this is the worst. And yes, I said something.

Circle K. A guy is having the lady in front of him buy him a beer. I'm behind him in line and see him pocket a few things to eat. I waited until she paid.

So, she's buying you a beer but you aren't paying for the food in your pocket.

Good for you ! Maybe a well placed elbow would have helped the situation?

He didn’t put up much of a struggle when he was down or he probably would’ve gotten a few. He took one short shot at my ribs. Not much behind it.
