🏈 Shane Lee

I was just thinking the other day that it's strange that Shane Lee has not seen the field much this year. He's gone from being a starter (he played okay but did make some freshman mistakes) to being featured on the milk carton, Have You Seen This Linebacker? Has anyone heard anything about his practices and progress? I'm not saying he should be starting, but it's just odd that he rarely sees the field. And is it concerning that Moses and Harris play so many snaps? I thought our depth would be much better this year but both LBs are playing a lot of snaps. Also, will Keilan Robinson enter the transfer portal soon? He's disappeared too. I'm concerned that we have no RB depth. Najee plays the majority of snaps, Brian Robinson comes in occasionally, and Trey Sanders and K Robinson are not showing up at all. I just had some random thoughts today and thought I would ask.

Not exactly sure why the D staff doesn't believe rotating LB's every now and then can't be beneficial, but I'm not shocked that we haven't seen him... Because I believe unless they went 5 deep, he wouldn't be next up. I can't even recall seeing Josh McMillon and I believe he'd be first man off the bench.

In regards to K. Robinson, I really hope he's coming back next season. We are losing basically 100% of the meaningful carries as of right now, so there's room for competition. Hoping the fact that we likely aren't taking a RB in the class means they're planning for KR to be on the roster. But who knows

Yeah, I haven't paid the most attention, but I can't recall anyone playing outside of Moses, Harris, and Allen at the linebacker spots. I haven't even seen Brandon Kaho outside of maybe one kickoff or goaline play, and I know he will hit and get after it.

McMillon is unstable in lateral movement. He plays short yardage FB and is doing great.

Lee just hasn't gotten a chance because games have mostly been close. Ale Kaho is also a guy not getting snaps, but would be #2.

RB depth is fine. Keilan opted out. Trey Sanders is the guy who I'd like to see get reps (hopefully this weekend). After that, there's Jase McClellan and Roydell Williams, both of whom will be excellent. They are playing ST.

They are using four; Moses, Harris, Anderson, and Allen. Moses and Harris are in for 90+% of the snaps, Anderson and Allen are in the 65% range. Lee was pushed into the starting role last year due to the Moses injury.

After Missouri, there hasn't been much rotation in the group. Sanders is the only one who has played in all four games outside of those mentioned.

Kaho is banged up.

heck, I have only seen Sanders in the Missouri game when he busted coverage. Haven't even see him other than that. I'll be honest though, I've really just been ball watching this year. I simply haven't gotten into my normal groove with football. Maybe it's the crowds, band, something that is keeping me from taking the next step to get more involved, but so far I'm just ball watching sadly.
