The main point being we don't really know how good we are right now. We know that FSU handled Ole Miss much better than we did. That's really the only legit opponent we've had so far. I wouldn't feel good about facing any of those opponents I listed up there. Now, we can definitely improve before the postseason, and fortunately the SEC is down this year.
We'll see what happens, and I'm cautiously optimistic, but our offense isn't the best rn, and our defense still has trouble defending RPO offenses with dynamic QBs.
Our success down the road depends on Jalen improving, which can definitely happen. I hope it does

I don't disagree with that. Just saying that we are beatable right now because of offensive line issues, qb inexperience and trouble with the dual threat qb's. And these guys fit the bill of someone who could give us trouble.

Of course, if we stay true to form as over the last couple years, we will keep improving and our talent and depth advantage become the overwhelming obstacle for these guys to get around.

Scheme and how one defense chose to continue to play out the game as opposed to the other. BAMA went up 18 and took the foot off of the gas on defense while F$U kept up the pressure.

I don't see any of them beating Alabama soundly.

Soundly by my definition would be Alabama vs Southern Cal or vs Michigan State (either time). How many times has Saban lost a game like that at Alabama?
