🏈 Seems there was another injury Saturday..

Whoops i took it as a starter went down my bad.

Bama has played well on the OL as of late but RG has been a bit inconsistent. We thought we had fixed the problem but a season ending concussion opened the position back up. That was 4-6 weeks ago so we have 2-3 (maybe 2 now) players who have gotten significant snaps against quality opponents.

ACL I believe.

sounds like it.....

Tide loses Hamilton for playoffs with knee injury

Tide's Hamilton injures knee, season likely over

sure hate to lose a guy with his toughness, but if Mack can come in and do a good job we should be OK. it's a scary time to do that, being the playoffs and all, but if he can come in and do the job well, then that'll just means we have another backup who is very capable. i still like our chances, too. Mack knows the system, and it's not like he's never played for us before, granted usually in mop-up duty (but not always), but he does have some experience and knows what's expected of him from both the coaches and the other players on the field.

and here's hoping SDH can get healed and be back next year better than ever and ready to go after another title.

Are you looking for Mack Wilson to start over Rashaan Evans?

no. but with an injury to a starter like that, the backup is now thrown into the starter role (one would assume), so the 3rd string guy is now the 1st backup (again, assuming) and may be called on more AS that backup, in certain situations.

i'm just looking at it from a depth perspective.

sorry, my brain is weird sometimes. :what:

ok, most of the time. :(

don't judge me.....:p

Huge bummer. Hamilton has been amazing this year. Seems like Evans was back to playing more at OLB, but I'm sure he will be playing ILB now. Plenty of talent to overcome the injury but there will be some dropoff IMO... He was playing just as well as Foster.

Evans, looked like the quickest guy on the defense when he came in. The goal line hit was top notch stuff. Last season when he came in against Clemson he tagged Watson twice and hurt him. He's always played like a starter, but hey, I'm still trying to figure out why CJ Mosely wasn't an every down LB until his senior campaign.
