Alabama with a little luck and could get to third round to face Florida and that would be a blowout. Florida takes it all this year anyway. Maybe at least 2 more wins for CM to talk about his boy. We need Nick to coach these final games.
Go get Pearl before Auburn rises up and snatches him.
ROLL TIDE ROLL

The only way we face UF is in the SECCG. In fact, we matched up pretty well against UF when we played them in Gainesville—better than UK who ended up getting blown out yesterday.

Every team in our bracket is beatable.

First off, Florida is nowhere near as good as their record might lead someone to believe. The SEC is terrible. Every team made the Gators look better than they really are. Bama was tied with them at the half. Need I say more?

Second, Saban’s end of the year record this year? Or other years not named 2008?

My gawd...when will these comparison's to Saban stop?

One can make the best case for their point and as soon as they try to compare the two programs all credibility is L.O.S.T.

Errr, Saban's second year was 2008. Now, back to basketball...

If we choose to say "Florida isn't as good as their record indicates" isn't it just as fair to say "Bama isn't as bad as their record indicates?"

Every team made the Gators look better than they actually are? Come on now. They are good enough to beat any team in the nation—definitely a top 10 team. There only a handful of teams I'd say could beat UF in the dance and chances are they may not meet them until they get to Jerry's World.

Florida has basically everything going for them. They may have some tight games with lesser opponents, but I'd be scared to play them tournament time. Lot of depth and a lot of experience. They've made it to the elite 8 what now? 3 straight times? Pretty insane.

There's a reason they are ranked #1 and that's part of that reason—yes, Elite 8 three times in a row. Hell, they've made it to quarterfinals five of the last eight years.

When I started pointing to the amount of talent coming out of SEC states a month and a half ago one of the teams I looked at was the 2007 Gator team. That was a damn good ball team. One thing that struck me about that team is even though Florida produces the third most D1 talent of any of the states within the SEC footprint (#1 TX, #2, GA) their starting five had two from TN, one from FL, one from NY, and the other from PR.

Donovan has all the talent in the world around him and still is reached out to other states to build what he has now.

Wow, I literally had no idea about that. I know Donovan really wanted Riley Norris, but other than that, I always thought UF would stay instate, like all Florida schools.
