Interesting quote...

"In 2006-07, five of the top nine football-revenue schools came from the SEC: Georgia ($59.5 million), Florida ($58.9 million), Auburn ($56.8 million), Alabama ($53.2 million) and LSU ($48.1 million)."

I find that interesting because if you look at the school with the largest stadium in the SEC yet if fails to make the top 20 in the nation.

I found this in the Birmingham News article I was linked to this morning.

Soccer was interesting to say the least.

Income -$425
Expenses- $4000

glad to not see the other orange on the list :)

I live in TN, and obviously have a majority of my friends who are UT fans. From what I hear from most of them, is that they want Fulmer gone, but they feel that he has earned the right to leave on his own terms.

They all seem to have the same view of him: that he is a good recruiter, and a good offensive linemen coach. But every time the team loses it seems like they are all calling for his head, and when they win it's (or was) because of the coaches surrounding him. Fulmer has definitely got himself in a hole with his fan base, as of the last couple of years.

That article by Terry pretty much hit the nail on the head. I get the feeling that Fulmer is pretty much content with what he has accomplished during his career, and that he feels fine with running a mediocre program up there in Knoxville.
