Pitt won 20 games in the past two seasons. I suspect there were very few P5 teams that did the same.

I know that ESPN using FPI is simply one measure. But I don't think it's highly useful. At least by itself. For instance, I don't think that there is any way I would put Florida in the top 20 pre-season. And I wouldn't be ranking South Carolina at 42. Seems too low.
