šŸˆ GAME THREAD SEC Championship. Alabama vs Georgia. : How do the two teams compare to each other?

1. Talent- yes the Bulldogs have talent. Young and inexperienced and not near the depth that BAMA has.

2. Special Teams - ain't nobody denying that Bulldogs have the edge when it comes to kickers.

3. Ground game - Barn went for 130 on 43 carries!!! That's 3 ypc!!! Bulldogs might go for 150-180 but it will be in a losing effort.

4. Deandre Baker's impact - Tua and company didn't back down from "DBU" and Greedy Williams who some have proclaimed to be god of all DBs. BAMA will go after him when they choose. Expect a PI or 2 to be called.

5. Revenge, redemption, whatever - emotion lasts for about 5 minutes. UGA is a school that has proven for 30-40 years that they can't play sound or focused with emotion. They commit stupid penalties and play tight.

In the end, I give them 1 edge and that is in the kicking game. In the return game, I would put Josh Jacobs and Jaylen Waddle up against anyone, kickoff or punt!!!

Bama's game plan for UGA will most likely be to put the game on Fromm. Look for heavy run D and man coverage. You will probably see some big plays by UGA due to that. You will also see a lot of TFL and probably a good many hurries/sacks on play action.

UGa's secondary has problems IMO.

The more I think about this game, the more I want to just watch the tape of UGA vs. LSU and remind myself that this Georgia team has problems. LSU ran the ball on UGA primarily. UGA

gave up almost 30 points to mizzou. and those weren't mop up points. mizzou had 3 or 4 fumbles and the game was close in the 3rd quarter. mizzou's defense, which I do think was quite good this year, held fromm to 13/23.

UGa is a good team. Not great. They will have to have a really good day saturday.

The game is in Atlanta so it’s basically a home game for the Dawgs. That is their primary advantage.

I haven't bothered to look it up but I would bet that Bama has won more games there.

p.s. gotta have neutral refs... which I am least confident in

Comments already setting up their complaint after the game.

Some also seem to believe UGA gave Bama the NCG by not playing attack defense and Tua is not that great anyway.

Gotta love the Dawg faithful. My dad told me yesterday, "we're maybe a year or two out, but we are gonna give y'all a run for y'alls money". I said "dad, Georgia has been a year or two out for my entire life based on what the fans say every year, what has changed".

I was thing the same thing, might as well name it Mercedes Benz, Nick Saban stadium!

yes... are you all ready for 365 more days of crying about the referees should Alabama win the game?

YOu know that only Georgia fans surpass barners in levels of moaning about refs after losses.
