In Starkville..."We Believe...we are the same team as we were last year."

I see no reason to believe Florida will beat FSU this weekend. In fact, I'm still wondering if they are drunk from the game formally known as the Cocktail party.

Michigan's Denard has been moved to RB following Toussaint's injury today (supposedly a gnarly ankle injury - I haven't seen it yet)

edit > yup, its a bad injury - hope he recovers from that one.

Georgia tied 7-7 with Georgia Southern with 12 left in the 2nd .. LOL. I would love to see them lose.

And Florida only up 10-0 on Jacksonville State at the half???

Edit: Just saw South Carolina is tied with Wofford??? 7-7 to start the 3rd.

There are four teams in the Coastal of the ACC that could make it to the ACCCG.

Duke, Ga. Tech, Miami, and Va. Tech.

Now, Va. Tech will need Miami to declare themselves ineligible for a bowl for VT to sneak in. But, Miami isn't going to make that move until they become bowl eligible. (Yes, we are in the third to the last game of the regular season)

Out of the entire division, Duke is the only team that is bowl eligible as of this moment. Duke.

VT isn't likely to make it in considering they are struggling against a 2-8 Boston College team.

Why am I bringing this up?

For one, just this week Jimbo Fisher said in his press conference it isn't about who you play, it's about how the team looks when you decide how you vote in the Coaches Poll. He voted FSU as #4 this week.

Now, this FSU team, yes the one that lost to NC State who is 3-3 in conference. This FSU team who had a very hard time beating VT; yes, the VT losing to BC right now.

OH, and secondly, who was it that was saying conference championships should matter in the playoffs??? Yes, it was one John Swofford, commish of the ACC that was among that group—of two.

Wondering if Barkley will play next week against ND. USC loses 4 games this year and could be 5, after being #1 at beginning of the season.

ND is a bigger rival game than UCLA I believe. Something about "Cardinal" red that the Catholics don't like... Maybe USC will show up?
