My boyfriend's dad is a Stanford alum. In the late 1960s, he helped lead a campaign to try and change the mascot to the Thunderchickens. I kinda wish that had gone down, cuz it would be a lot cooler to be rooting for the Thunderchickens then the Cardinal hahah. GO STANFORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
