It's sentences like this that frustrate the hell out of me.

Thanks to a favorable schedule, the Tide has a great chance to go 10-2 with an 8-4 team.

It's akin to saying that color would be white if it wasn't black. That would be a hole if it didn't have dirt in it.

I wonder (though not to the point of digging it up) what this guy said about us pre season last year when we were looking at Arkansas, LSU, Georgia and Tennessee on the road and Clemson on a neutral site. Obviously he is in the bash Bama camp. It is hard to figure why he thinks we'd be an 8-4 team if the schedule were tougher.

My only opion as to why he might be calling us an 8-4 team is that we don't have "an experienced QB" or the we lost 3 OL. These guys always look at what leaves and then predicts doom and gloom without ever looking at who comes in as replacements.

It's not the point he's trying to make that bothers me, it's the convoluted way he goes about saying so...

After a quick search, most of his stuff appears on InsideTennessee.com (which is UT's Scout site.)

But, he's not listed as Editor-in-Chief there.
