Who is Cochran's agent? This sounds like a ploy to get his name mentioned because at UGA, his name is no longer mentioned.

I imagine you're in the minority having a Vanderbilt fan in Charleston two doors down that's plugged into the program.

I don't see why it's that odd versus seeing a Boise State fan or an App State fan. I don't run into a majority around here when it comes to state schools and see quite a few other fans as well considering what's around (DOD operations, et al.)

That's sorta my point. If Cochran's goal is to move up the coaching ladder, manufacturing ways to keep his name out there is one strategy. Not saying it's a good strategy, but there's not many more explanations for what is going on (if the report was true). No way he honestly believes he had a remote shot at getting a power 5 HC job right now, even at an afterthought like Vandy.

I feel Boise State would be odd as well. Appalachian State, they have shown up more and more over the years, so I expect that,especially in the Georgia mountains and even the South Carolina coast.

Vandy AD is from Madison, AL. she is well known around here. Several people around here have stated that if she hires a ST for a coaching job, she will be gone within 2 years. This is very critical that she makes solid hire.
