💬 Scene: You are on your way to season opener for Bama football and this happens. What is your reaction?

A lot of questions on the situation:

Is this the only way to get to where I'm going?
Is the crowd violent (this crowd doesn't seem to be)?
Can the vehicle with its lights on in the background give assistance?

If the crowd is violent, and I can't get to where I'm going any other way, I'm putting my foot on the gas but still trying to avoid any direct collisions with pedestrian (they'll still put a dent in the car when I hit them).
If there's another way to get to where I'm going, I probably wouldn't have driven up to them and just gone the alternate route.
The vehicle with its light on would probably recommend that I go a different route. Once I have that route, that's where I'm heading.

Easier said when you have phones and ability to read Google maps on your iPhone. My grandmomma isn't technologically savvy, has a flip phone, so she would be very startled in this situation. She doesn't drive through the city, but simply saying everyone may not know an alternate route to stay out of the trouble or have the quick thinking to act so diligently.

I guess that none of y’all have heard of the shootings already. BLM/Antifa type assumed air temp when he approached a car carrying an AK. BLM/antifa shoots others in Aurora, CO shooting at a Jeep that wouldn’t stop. People are fed up, anywhere there is a protest should be considered a hot zone.

The police must be allowed to do their job and enforce the laws in this country or it is definitely going to get worse. It may anyway because we have an entitled bunch of spoiled brats.

I always caveat my statements on this to say I do not condone police brutality or racism. This is about breaking the law and allowing it to happen. Leadership (lack of) is failing this country especially in these cities and states. You can't allow this crap for political gain.

One party requires victim groups.

I will not preface anything with a caveat, it doesn’t matter if you do. It is time to take them out with extreme prejudice. Round up anyone remotely associated with either group, every commie group, socialist and every member of congress and trial them for insurrection and attempt to overthrow the government of the US. Get the skin heads, neo Nazis, and decrepit old kkk bastard while your at it. Fed up with all of this shit. Any of the Bowel Loose Movement supporters can kiss my ass.

I could not agree more.

Any protester is NOT allowed to block or otherwise impede anyone traveling on a right-of-way. The Constitution lays out our rights to peaceably assemble. Assembling peaceably does NOT include blocking anyone; no matter if they are walking, on a bicycle, or in a vehicle. And this includes on walkways and/or roadways So anyone who does that is not within THEIR rights and is doing something illegal. Also, anyone who does that is an idiot and deserves what happens to them. If you want to put your life on the line and go against a 2 ton vehicle while you're a pedestrian, then you're an idiot.

And if I'm driving somewhere and suddenly find myself in a situation where my vehicle is surrounded, it'd be better for them to just let me drive through unimpeded. I carry a firearm every single day. And I am prepared to use it to defend either my or a family member's life. The BLM protester who was killed a few days ago was a moron when he raised a weapon up to the driver of the car. That driver responded with using his own weapon and shooting the protester. And, to me, it was a good shoot. The driver felt threatened, and rightfully so. He had no idea what the intent of the protester was.

I'm in and off road rig, vehicle would be how I would clear a path...not a gun. Just saying.
