IF you didn't know, Phyllis has been dealing with inoperable cancer with her husband and a few Bama fans got together to start a GoFundMe campaign to help with medical expenses.

While you might not like his opinions, it's my opinion you have to give credit where it's due ...

Yeah, I'd say so. I think its cool that so many people from different schools are contributing.

I feel for the lady. A lot of us have been in the situation of helping to take care of someone when the outcome is certain. It's never easy and always takes a toll on everybody involved. Phyllis is luckier than most thanks to her notoriety on the Finebaum show. She'll hopefully find it a little easier to carry on after the inevitable happens because she has the financial and especially the emotional support of the Finebaum community.

While we're on the subject of communities - thanks to you guys who invest your time and resources to keep this site up and running. It's nice to have a place to come to where you can escape and express yourself with a post or just read what others have to say about a subject we all love - Alabama football. A chuckle or two can go a long way for those going through difficult times. Sure, there's some occasional teasing and bickering - but most of the members here show respect for each other which seems to be a rarity on sports forums these days. It is appreciated.

Final thought - prayers out for those on this board who are or have recently had to deal with sickness or the loss of a family member.
