Half of the family tree hails from the Ozarks. Family reunion once when I was a kid there were cousins that came from there. Pulled up in something like a 49 Hudson or some such and kids started pouring out of the back like ants. A float trip down the Buffalo River is nice. Did a 56 mile trip several years ago. fantastic scenery and just the right amount of whitewater for an average skill level canoeist.
