Pretty alarming to me that no one is going after Golding at all. No one.

I don't think it's alarming. Coaches speak and sometimes things get done on quiet side.

My team had people all over the US and we would meet at that location several times a year due to it being in a central location. There is definitly money there. We used to laugh about how the homeless people in Boulder dressed in Ralph Loren Polo shirts and designer jeans with expensive Nike sneakers. It wasn't an exaggeration.

I would give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he's going the route some coaches go and trying to weed out the one's who don't want to buy in... but he's trash, and that is a trash move to do it the way he did it... so it checks that box as well. I mean to have multiple people filming it for promotional purposes, one of them laughing at his wrestling promo style one liners? Get out of here. It probably won't happen in that crumbling Roman Empire of a conference, but I hope he gets embarrassed out there...

Doesn’t surprise me at all. You can still see some homeless people wearing designer clothing there, but they’ve done a really good job with housing for them and other services.

Boulder is considered the central Silicon Valley, lots of tech, medical, science, etc. But, it’s also made it really pricey.

I try to tell people the homeless in Minneapolis mostly wear Jordans. I’ve taken a few photos over the last several months to back it up. Wasn’t this way before the George Floyd events.

That's probably a good move. I think more P5 schools may try this. There are a lot of good minds who are HCs in G5 and below. Being a coordinator in a P5 with a lot more money could be very tempting to some.

Mentioned the other day there will be sitting HC's who bolt for the NFL or back to college coordinator positions because of portal and NIL issues on their plates... basically not worth the hassle. I don't know if that's the case here specifically, but it's an issue out there so it wouldn't surprise me.

IMO, coaches will always go for a HC position whether it be P5, G5 or NFL. The way contracts are written these days, coaches are getting the full amount even if they’re fired. Assistant coaches don’t always have fully guaranteed contracts.

If they don’t want to put the work in then they all should hit the portal. Sanders is getting a lot of heat for that small quote, but he was saying if they didn’t want to put in work, do the right things then they should hit the portal. He also said he’s bringing his son, but he was going to have to earn it, now being his son he’s not going to have to do much.
