🏈 Saban's Post Signing Day PC

I love the class, but Saban took some shots at the recruits that lied to him. Did you listen to his PC?
I agree with ya man, CNS said it with class, we attract guys that want to compete against the best. That's who'd I would want watching my back when it hits the fan. Real competitors who want to get better go against the best everyday and that what separates the best. The old saying of the cream rises to the top comes to mind. Love our coach!

There are 3 guys in this class that really seem like a special talent. Eyabi Anoma has Derrick Thomas quickness on a 6' 5" frame, Patrick Surtain has the size and speed and ball skills of a Patrick Peterson and I'm still looking for the next David Palmer, perhaps it could come from Jaylen Waddle. How about that for 3 difference makers?

Saban seemed bothered by something yesterday PC.

Most are saying its the two signing period and Bama staff and all that .. I think it was something more sinister like paying players.

If that is so I hope he reports it to SEC office.

I think also...the loss of both coordinators....some heavy negative recruiting by 3 of his former assistants....
...retirement soon talk..to much talent and cant get on field...etc
But Kirbys class at UGA....well...its dang good...and glad to see Florida get some competition...
Tennessee, AU, and LSU....were down lower then I thought they would be..
But I thought Saban was disappointed.....some what subdued...
But dang good class overall and better then 120+ others...
And watch ns really hit it hard next year...

This was a solid interview with Mark Packer on Sirius. It's not the whole interview. I can't find it.

These were some other Saban comments not on this audio

-Early signing period is not good because is speeds up the recruiting process and speeds up evaluation and the 'late bloomers' who felt pressure to sign early missed on some better opportunities. It also speeds up evaluation of the player's character and academics and makes it harder to make an informed decision on offering scholarships.

-This recruiting year was unique in that 6 or so programs 'in the South' turned over with head coaches and the late signing period was very intense for the signees because new staffs were putting heavy pressure on them and were being very aggressive with them. I assume that means more aggressive than normal.

-He said he never knows what these players are rated by recruiting services until he gets questions from the media about it. They have their own NFL style evaluation system and he pays no attention to star ratings.
