🏈 Saban vs. Shula

Hey, man . . . why do you only show up to run down the coaches or the team? Someone else may remember your being here last season to praise the Tide and their accomplishments. I don't.

Notice the timing...when did they show back up.....after the AU/UA game. It may say supporter of Bama football but they are all AU. There is your answer CP.

I'm not old enough to have been around when Bryant had a 5-5-1 season and almost got fired. In the twilight of his career, he was so proven with so many accomplishments, he wouldn't be worthy of "catching heat". I felt the same of Gene Stallings his last 2 seasons. Until Saban wins back to back national titles, let's not put him in the category with Bryant just yet.

Stallings went 9-3-1 the year following the NC in his fourth year at Bama. I guess he slouched, too, should have deserved some "serious heat", and the University should have docked his pay.

D.A.'s had a miserable few years without a coach to attack. He's been seething in Lee County, waiting to employ his ill logic.

Extending this thread does serve a purpose. It removes all doubt of his motivation. He thinks Saban is overpaid, despite clear evidence of the financial benefit realized by the University since his hiring. He is jealous, and seems to relish attacking those who are successful. A therapist could have a field day with those perceived inadequacies.

I really think you are Exactly the kind of Bama Fan that Bama Doesn't Need Nor Want! The Blame belongs to the players that have had no intensity, that quit yes quit when someone punches them in the mouth! As for CNS giving money back for the so called auburn debacle, your an idiot! CNS gives a lot of his paycheck back every week....The players didn't want to play this year.....The only thing I think CNS should have done different, He should have benched every player that half assed it all year! He should have made it clear that No Ones position was locked up and safe! Bama really needs to pay CNS 8 million a year because of the psychotic fans he has to deal with! Why do you think no one wanted to coach for Bama?! It's Absurd that the shula vs. Saban was ever asked! I really believe your kind of Bama fan only makes up about 10%....at least I hope! By the way, YOUR FIRED!

Roll Tide Roll!

I don't remember Stallings blowing a huge lead to Auburn. Do you?

You're neglecting to account for the fact that the Auburn team that Saban blew a lead against was a much better team than Alabama this year. (And before people start screamng about how we cheated, that is beside the point of this post entirely.)

The score at the end of the first isn't relevant. Over 60 minutes Auburn won. And they took the lead with around 11 minutes to go. It wasn't a case of the Tide coming unglued.

Sure. Whatever you say. ...and Cam Newton didn't know anything about the $200K...

Put your crack pipe down, Aubie. You know that if it wasn't for a dropped pass and 2 fluke fumbles in the 2nd quarter, it would have been 42-0 at half time.

The team that JUMPED to a 24-0 lead midway thru the 2nd (???) quarter did not come unglued?? I hope I'm reading this wrong and you're not saying that Auburn BEAT Bama, cuz Bama beat Bama on November 26, 2010. Yes Auburn is a better team this year, neglecting the fact that they are semipro, but in the 2010 Iron Bowl, Bama beat Bama.

DaBasturd, you just proved our point that it wasn't CNS fault....Ingram fumble In the red zone, t.rich dropped an easy 6pts., in the endzone...G.Mac fumble lost in the Redzone....It's the coaches Responsibility to have the players physically ready to play...It's the players responsibility to be emotionally and mentally prepared to go out and Battle! It was clear all season long that our guys weren't hungry! I really don't know how any of our underclassmen could leave early because this bitter taste will never leave the one s that end their career like this.

Roll Tide Roll!

WRONG!! Based on this statement, it is obvious you have no clue what you're talking about.

Based on the pitiful name calling, you must be some dumb kid. I'll have to post after 8PM when your mommy puts you to bed. Nevermind, I see where you are located. That explains it.

To answer your question...To follow and conform to the direction of the coach, which should include absolute demands, backed with discipline, their absolute upper limits of physical and mental effort, doing things his way and no other.

Motivation, discipline, etc has to be driven by the head coach and his policies. If either is lacking, you get what happened in the Auburn game... ...a loss by a great collection of talent...

Let's not keep arguing about Saban blowing the Auburn game and the fact he got outcoached. Let's hope he get's it right next year. I'm guessing he will be obsessed with getting it right next year and will force his will next year.

Here's the thing though. If he does, and say Alabama wins every game, will you show up to say he did a good job or are you just a career antagonist? As so many others have pointed out, you were no where to be found the last two years when, aside from the Utah game, things went pretty dang well. You are so douchey I suspect you smell like vinegar.
