🏈 Saban says 3 players suspended indefinitely...

All of these personnel issues are really disturbing. Hopefully anyone still on the team or that wants to come to Bama next year or after are taking notes to get their issues straight or else.

Ivory and Williams could be along the lines of late to meetings, late to class, missing weigh ins. Those suspensions don't bother me near as bad as a kid with a DUI.

I have to admit, it seems like a lot this year. Makes me nervous. Hope Saban smacks some sense into these guys and sets the tone for the future.

Wish these guys would behave.

I'd be shocked if it's an issue that ever goes away entirely... I'm not talking about major stuff like robbery, but the minor stuff like alcohol issues and drug possession stuff. In fact, if the stuff didn't happen to some degree, I'd be concerned that it was being covered up. When you have a 100+ guys ages 18-22 in a college setting surrounded by beautiful ladies, alcohol o'plenty, and drugs galore, there's just no way around it. And it isn't an issue with just football players, it is a law of averages that engulfs the entire student body.

All that said, yes, it gets aggravating at times.

I agree when you have so many young men in one place, temptation is hard to overcome in just about every area of life. It is difficult enough for a position coach to keep tabs on his players much less the head coach. Overall, I think most teams do a good job of keeping tabs on their kids. Some of these players come from horrible home situations where survival is the name of the game and that way of life is all they have known.
