i'd hoped nobody would quote hanks there, lol.... i noticed in the postgame interviews that all of the players (minus hanks) carefully responded to the "have you thought about a rematch yet" question with a definitive "no".. as did their coach.. of course. then hanks emphatically declares that saban told them in the lockerroom that it definitely could happen. LOL. oh well.

Sometimes it's obvious when someone gets out coached. The article is accurate. The game came down to great players making great plays. (not coaches...they only put players in position... Right) With that said, some keys plays after this loss do become glaring.
#1 Maze not fielding a returnable punt nearing the end of regulation.
CNS should have known if Maze was 100% and choosing to go into OT without a throw down field. The too many men in the huddle in OT. All coaching.

I my opinion conservative play will always be exposed in tight games but irregardless CNS is the absolute best instructor/coach in the game.
