🏈 Saban interview on ESPN

great clips. Thank you so much, I missed it the first time. CNS does have great points, and he totally "coached up" those guys! I know what kind of taskmaster he is, and I don't think Bama will come in with overblown ego or unrealistic expectations.

Saban made a lot of excellent points. He's right; Texas is an outstanding team, and they have a Heisman candidate just like Bama does. You don't go 13-0 unless you're a very good team. Yes, Texas struggled and barely beat Nebraska, but Bama barely survived Tennessee and Auburn.

Don't disrespect your opponent. Remember how Miami acted toward Bama in the 1993 Sugar Bowl?

Not to mention that Bama has NEVER beaten Texas! We are 0-7-1 all time. If anything WE have something to prove to beat them for the first time.

Words cannot begin to describe how LITTLE respect I have for Lou Holtz. What is his deal? He is ALWAYS negative about Alabama while TRYING to SOUND like he is an objective analyst.

He is a mouth breathing, slobbering imbecile. EFF you Lou.

If anybody missed it...

Thanks guys for posting that. Sounds like to me that Herbie was trying to get a little smart with Saban there at the end.

Saban is right...our biggest enemy for this game is ourselves. If we show up and play like we did against Florida, I think we win. But if we come in underestimating Texas we're in some serious danger of blowing a HUGE opportunity.
