Since this guy has been our head coach, we have become the national power that we were at another time, under a certain iconic head coach. This is a good thing. But one particular trait that I notice about Coach Saban is that he looks like he physically hurts when we make a bad play, or lose a game. This is the kind of intensity and program management that every school wishes they had. Sure, every coach wants to win. Sure, all of them hate to lose on a play or the whole game. Most all big time coaches are competitive, successful people. But our guy, Nick Saban, to me, looks like he physically hurts when we mess up.
When we had other coaches, again, who shall remain nameless, they were all about getting back up and making the next play. Or losing with pride and honor, thinking that we played our best. Not with Nick Saban. We must win. We most of the time DO WIN. This is what we want. No clapping it off, or crossing your arms and staring at the ground. This guy hates to lose, and to me, Saban's name is synonomous with WINNING and Championships.:a:
