They need to get a guy that has a high profile job, has won a national championship, and who knows the in's and out's of the Texas situation. Someone like, well, ... Mack Brown.

Carl Lewis was also an excellent sprinter, but never high jumped.

Scab is a writer, but never an excellent one. It's just another example of how little he knows about sports.

Speaking of contracts, does Les Miles still have that dollar more than the highest paid coach stipulation in his contract? If so, LOLSU needs to get to renegotiating.

If that's still in his contract like it was it's contingent on winning the BCSNC (if it's phrased that way...it may read national championship.)

Prayers by Longhorn Nation are answered. Mack is fired! This after a Friday the 13th to remember when Texas Athletics stabbed us in the back (Freddy Kruger style) and then left us all wondering how we went from almost firing Mack and hiring Saban,,, to keeping Mack and chasing Saban away.

Now, ESPN is reporting that Mack will retire!!!!!! Prayers answered! Hallelujah.

Saban back in play for Texas maybe.

I think you're letting your hopes blind you of reality. ESPN and multiple places have said that he is staying put at UA. He himself has said he is staying now until he wants to retire. You're going to end up like ol' Dewey Cox if you don't stop
